18 Pakistanis have Rs,4000 Billion in their Banks
Sirajul Haq, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, claims to possess a list of 18 individuals from Pakistan, which includes politicians and armed forces personnel, holding a total of Rs4,000 billion (equivalent to USD $15.52b) in their respective bank accounts.

During a press conference in Islamabad on Monday, Sirajul Haq stated that “Our country’s institutions are helpless to recover money from these people.” He further suggested that judges, generals, bureaucrats, and politicians should make sacrifices to enhance the country’s economy.
Haq said that expansion had reached 34.3 percent during the tenure of PDM government. and Haq asked, “How can a head of a family feed 12 members if flour is being sold at Rs160 per kg?””
Haq claimed that the rulers were planning to impose a burden of Rs650b on the people and went on to mockingly suggest that the government might even tax the act of breathing in the future.
