The news of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain’s arrestment spread like wild fire not only in London but in Pakistan as well.
However, recent news officials in London revealed that he was granted bail as there was “insufficient evidence to charge him with a crime.” This evidence don’t make a man criminal so they have granted him bail.
London metropolitan Police have taken him into the custody on Tuesday afternoon. After being in custody for a day he was released.
He was arrested under the charge of delivering hateful speeches in 2016. His speeches urged his followers to commit crimes after taking the law in their hands.
He also delivered threats to the former DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar.
However, inquiries will be made regarding Altaf Hussain and he will be summoned by the Police whenever they feel a need to.
