Rawalpindi: The army leadership has discussed the currently ongoing coronavirus situation in the country here on Tuesday.
During the 31st Corps Commanders’ Conference, the army leadership has discussed prevailing coronavirus situation during the Conference that was presided over by Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday.
According to the ISPR statement,
“The forum reviewed geo-strategic, regional and national security environment with particular emphasis on latest situation arising from COVID-19. Forum under took comprehensive review of deployment of Pakistan army troops assisting civil administration in aid of civil power across the country.”

Moreover, during the conference, the army leadership has also paid a rich tribute to the doctors, paramedics, health care workers and LEAs who have put their lives in danger to save the lives of the rest of the humanity.
Kashmiri people were also discussed during the meeting. They have lauded their struggles and efforts in fighting for their rights since ages.
The army chief stated,
“Being a nation with vibrant youth and resilient people ready to share & sacrifice, we will emerge stronger from this challenge, InshaAllah.”
