Army ready to thwart any threats against country: COAS


Rawalpindi: Inter-Services Public Relations has informed here on Monday that the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has declared that the Pakistan army is all set to thwart any threat against the country.

226th Corps Commanders’ Conference

According to the ISPR, the COAS chaired the 226th Corps Commanders’ Conference here on Monday which was held at the General Headquarters.

During the Conference, multiple issues were discussed regarding the geo strategic and national security environment. The internal security is another matter that should be resolved under acute observations.

Pakistan Armed Forces

COAS mentioned in his speech, “While Pakistan Armed Forces with support of national institutions and the nation are fully prepared and committed to thwart all threats including on Eastern Border/LOC, continued cohesion of all national stakeholders on key national issues is essential to defeat inimical forces.”

On the other hand, the commanders of the Pakistan Army have also expressed their firm determination and passion to protect their country from the evil eyes of the enemies.

National institutions

COAS went on saying that “We have attained better internal security and stability through cohesive national efforts and sacrifices rendered by Pakistan Armed Forces, all national institutions and above all the nation. We shall not let it reverse to suit any vested agenda at any cost.”
