Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) here on Tuesday. The recent sources revealed that he has approached the court to seek bail on the medical grounds.
Earlier, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was also granted bail on the medical grounds to travel abroad.
Zardari is currently treated at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) under the supervision of the professionals.
Earlier on Monday, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also informed that PPP will soon submit a bail plea for Asif Ali Zardari.
Bilawal told the reporters that he doesn’t believe in the Pakistani doctors. He stated, “We do not trust Pakistani doctors.”
He went on saying that “Our Foundation Day rally was very successful and Kashmiris showed full participation in it… We have decided to observe the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto at Liaqaut Bagh on Dec 27.”
It is pertinent to note that the former President Zardari was arrested in June by NAB. His bail application was rejected and he was arrested on account of the fake bank accounts case.
