Atif Aslam, one of Pakistan’s top singers, have not only gained fame and love from his own country but made a name for himself in India as well.
Following the recent Pulwama Attack in India, T-Series came under pressure from some Hindu extremist groups who have urged to delete songs by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam from their YouTube channel.
There was additional pressure on them to officially stop working with Pakistani talent for good. However, we haven’t got a single response from Atif Aslam over the said issue.
Later on, the news spread like wild fire that T-series have back up the songs of our popular artists especially owing to the love they both received from both countries. Their songs are admired across the countries.
In a recent interview, he shared his stance over this matter. The singer had this to say, “It happens. I don’t know. I think I’m really loved over there (India) by fans. Border-ban has appeared often but I personally don’t know the reason for this – why I was taken off and was back on YouTube. The fan following in Pakistan and India is huge, which is perhaps gauged by the numbers. I feel it is the response of the fans.”
Atif Aslam songs have an ‘X Factor’ about them that’s why the songs are being loved by the public. There’s always a lot of hype around them and they instantly get millions of views.
Bollywood has gained a lot from his talent, and in return, Atif has gained a large, and loyal, fan base in India. At the end of the day, big movie production houses know that they can’t do without the ‘Atif Aslam’ brand.
