Islamabad: Starting with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Azadi March is now gaining support from all the leading and prominent opposition parties including PML-N and PPP.
After the expiry of the ultimatum given to PM Imran Khan here on Sunday, the JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated that he would consult the opposition parties for further actions. He has also cleared that he would not cancel their march unless their demands are being fulfilled.
While addressing the protesters at the H-9 Sector Maulana asserted that,
“We will return from here only after making progress. Today, Islamabad is closed and tomorrow the whole country may shut down.”
He claimed that on Monday, the future actions will be discussed after consultation with the opposition parties.
According to his words, the Azadi March will only end if PM Imran Khan would resign and go back home.
He went on saying that “We consider it sinful to retreat after taking a stance and moving forward. The issues are very serious, it’s not an easy situation. Today all parties and every segment of the society is present here and all are pinning hopes on us.”
“Do not try to instigate us. We can take our decisions in a better way.”
