Babar Azam, Pakistan’s cricket captain and a top-performing batter, will be awarded a prestigious civil award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the country’s cricket. The award is being given in honor of his remarkable leadership and batting skills, which have greatly benefited Pakistan’s cricket team.
Babar Azam, who is only 28 years old, will be the youngest cricketer ever to receive the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, a prestigious civil award in Pakistan. This award recognizes his exceptional achievements and highlights his remarkable contributions to the world of cricket.
The date for the ceremony to present the Sitara-e-Imtiaz award to Babar Azam has been confirmed. The award was announced earlier by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of Babar’s outstanding contributions to cricket.
Babar Azam will be presented with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz award on 23rd March 2023, which coincides with Pakistan Day celebrations. He will be taking a break from cricket to attend the ceremony, and as a result, he will not be participating in the upcoming series against Afghanistan, which is scheduled to begin on 24th March.
Babar Azam has become a role model for aspiring cricketers, and his dedication and hard work in the field of cricket have earned him this honor. Many other exceptional Pakistani cricketers have also been recognized with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz award by the Government of Pakistan, highlighting their remarkable contributions to the sport.
