Islamabad: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan on Sunday stated that the federal cabinet would not allow Maryam Nawaz to go abroad.
According to the sources, Ali Muhammad Khan mentioned that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz vice-president Maryam Nawaz’s request to go abroad cannot be accepted. The federal cabinet would never allow her to go abroad.
However, he mentioned that the court’s decision would also be taken into consideration. He asserted that if the court allows the government to decide whether she should go abroad or not then the government would not allow her.
Exit Control List (ECL)
He further stated that the federal cabinet would not remove her name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
While talking to a private news channel, the minister cleared that PTI government is keen to make law available for everyone. The law is equal to all as well. Moreover, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had struggled hard for the supremacy of the constitution.
While referring to the present health condition of the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he said Nawaz can apply for extension in bail. He said that the court may extend his bail term period to ensure his health.
Furthermore, he prayed for the early recovery of the former PM Nawaz Sharif. He stated that health should not be compromised with politics.
