Chris Gayle Selected as vice-captain of West Indies for World Cup 2019


After takeover by new management in West Indies Cricket Board, the decision to make Chris Gayle vice-captain seems valuable addition in their cricket team. He has got many world records in T20, ODIs and test matches and other teams also know his personal strength.

Team leaders always leave deep impressions on other team players. If your captain is strong enough then he can take out his team successfully from any type of bad condition.

Gayle’s Last ODI Tournament;

It will be the last ODI big tournament for him. Although he led the West Indies cricket team in June 2010 ODIs but still he seems fully determined to bring the trophy at home land as vice-captain.

On his appointment he said. “it’s the great honor to represent the people of West indies in the World cup 2019. My responsibility is to support the captain and all players of the team. It will be very special event of my life.”
