Wing Commander Abhinandan was captured on February 27, when his MiG-21 was shot down by the Pakistan Air Force after he ventured into the Pakistani airspace.
Later on, he was handed over to the Indian Authorities as a gesture of peace to India at the Wagah border on March 21, 2019.
