COAS Bajwa orders ‘all concerned to gear up preparations’
Earlier, the chief of the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the recently spreading virus as a “Pandemic”.

COAS made this statement while attending a Corps Commanders Conference at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Thursday.
Moreover, the current situation at the Line of Control (LoC) and Afghan Peace Process was also discussed during the conference.
For now, Pakistan has experienced 21 cases of positive coronavirus in the country. The highest number of patients are from Karachi. Sindh has been the hard-hit target of the virus with 15 cases emerged within a few days.
The newly diagnosed patient in Gilgit Baltistan had also traveled from Iran. He is currently under treatment at the Skardu hospital.
Moreover, two patients who were initially tested positive have been recovered.
