Lahore: The total number of confirmed coronavirus patients has reached to 265 across the province Punjab. On Tuesday, first death from coronavirus was reported in Lahore.
On Tuesday, Punjab has registered its first death from the coronavirus. The deceased was admitted in the Mayo Hospital Lahore where he lost his battle against coronavirus.
The provincial Health Minister Yasmin Rashid has informed that the patient was a 57-year-old admitted to Mayo Hospital. She said,
“Unfortunately, a COVID-19 patient Afrasiyab (57), who was admitted to Mayo Hospital here, lost his life today.”

She requested and urged the nation to cooperate with government and to stay indoors in order to avoid the spreading the virus and to make sure the safety of their loved ones.
With this effect, the total number of death in Pakistan has surged to 7.
Sindh has been the most affected and an easy target of the novel coronavirus. The total number of confirmed cases rises to 410. In Karachi, the most common cause of the spread of the virus is through “local transmission”.
Karachi has experienced 144 positive cases of coronavirus so far. In Gilgit Baltistan, total 80 cases are reported whereas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the health department has announced 78 cases.
Meanwhile in Islamabad, total 15 patients have been tested positive for coronavirus.
