Recent sources from the Pakistani health authorities have announced Coronavirus in Pakistan, first two cases being confirmed by authorities

Gilgit and is currently under treatment in Islamabad.

On Wednesday, two patients have been tested positive for the rampant virus. One patient belongs to Karachi while the other one is from Gilgit and is currently under treatment in Islamabad.

It is worth noticing that they have traveled to Iran to visit Holy sites and on their arrival, they have been tested positive for coronavirus.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr. Zafar Mirza said in a tweet,

“I can confirm the first two cases of coronavirus in Pakistan. Both cases are being taken care of according to the clinical standard protocols and both of them are stable. There is no need to panic, things are under control.”

Under the wake of coronavirus widely spreading across the countries, Sindh and Baluchistan governments have shut down all the educational institutions.

Moreover, an Emergency Control Room has also been established at Commissioner House Karachi in case any other patient is being effected by the virus.
