Daraz and NAVTTC Collaborate to Empower the Youth of Pakistan through E-Commerce Education.
Daraz, the popular online shopping platform in Pakistan, and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) have come together to make learning about e-commerce easier. They officially agreed to work together on December 11 in Karachi.
This collaboration means that NAVTTC will use a special e-commerce program created by Daraz to teach students. The goal is to equip them with the necessary skills to engage in online sales and establish their ventures. This collaboration marks a substantial stride in assisting individuals in grasping and utilizing the digital realm for business purposes.
The program comprises two courses: a 3-month introductory course for beginners and a more extensive 6-month course tailored for those seeking a deeper understanding of the subject. Daraz is not just providing the program; they are also training NAVTTC teachers to ensure they know how to teach it effectively. Upon completing the courses, students will receive certificates, showing they are ready to venture into the online selling space.
Ehsan Saya, Managing Director of Daraz Pakistan, is excited about this collaboration, seeing it as a way for young people to learn and succeed in the digital world. Mr. Hafeez Abbassi, Director General of SS&C at NAVTTC, also shared that NAVTTC wants to help young people compete in the global market, and working with Daraz will improve their programs and prepare students for a more digital future.
Both Daraz and NAVTTC are committed to strengthening e-commerce in Pakistan. They aim to provide excellent training and resources to help people thrive in the online marketplace.
