The OPD of Darul Sehat Hospital has been sealed on Wednesday night by the Sindh Health Care Commission (SHCC).
After the SHCC teams reached the hospital, there were 45 in-house patients. Hospital Management has been ordered to shift these patients to some other medical facilities within 48 hours.
The SHCC teams have faced severe resistance from the Hospital staff.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has stated that “I am not satisfied with the report and even the health minister has expressed her reservations over it.” He urges that strict action would be taken against those doctors and nurses who were involved in the case of a nine-month old Nashwa. Her life was at the mercy of these irresponsible doctors.
He further stated that “This is a serious matter and cannot be tolerated.”
According to the reports, Darul Sehat Hospital is “liable for medical negligence” and the penalty of Rs500,000 has been applied to the hospital. The report further stated that “DUSH administration should immediately remove all untrained staff.”
