Islamabad: It is worth noticing that Azad Jammu and Kashmir experienced a severe kind of land sliding and avalanche that caused immense damage. According to the reports from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Thursday, the death toll rises to 104 due to heavy rain, snowfall, and land sliding in different areas of the country.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan also visited the land of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Sources revealed that he has visited the affected areas of Muzaffarabad in order to review the relief operations.
PM Imran Khan also visited the Combined Military Hospital CMH Muzaffarabad and sought a detailed report on the facilities given to the patients. He inquires about the health of the injured persons as well.

AJK President Sardar Masood Khan and PM Raja Farooq Haider, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur and many other civil and military officers were present during the visit.

The heavy rain, snowfall and avalanche affected areas include Surgan, Kel, Lawat, Chaknat, Neelum Valley and AJK.
