Muzaffarabad: Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major-General Asif Ghafoor has kept his words here on Tuesday after taking journalists and diplomats to Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
During an interview with a senior journalist of Geo News, Hamid Mir, Asif Ghafoor has challenged the Indian authorities to do the same by taking diplomats to the Indian Occupied Region.
General Asif Ghafoor has taken a team of diplomats and journalists at the site where Indian Army Chief has claimed that they have destroyed three camps across Line of Control (LoC).
The diplomats and journalist have investigated the site to discover whether there are really camps which are said to be destroyed.
However, a detailed inquiry and investigation of the site revealed that there were no such training camps in the region hence proving the Indian claims false.
DG ISPR also mentioned that,
“Today diplomats and journalists visited the Line of Control and ascertained the ground reality with regards to claims by Indian army chief about the presence of alleged terror camps in the area.”
“The whole of Pakistan has challenged the Indian government to take diplomats and journalists to their side of the Line of Control in Indian-occupied Kashmir in a similar manner.”
He went on saying that “I request the international community to travel to occupied Kashmir and tell the world the reality about the situation there. India can take the diplomats and journalists of its choosing from Pakistan.”
“Pakistan is prepared to take these diplomats and journalists wherever India wants to take them. Journalists and diplomats have seen the ground reality with their own eyes here today,” he further added.
