Islamabad: The Pakistan government has launched ‘Digital Pakistan’ on Thursday which aimed at facilitating the public with modern technology.
The inauguration ceremony of the ‘Digital Pakistan’ was held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad.
According to PM Imran Khan, Digital Pakistan is a necessary step taken by the government for the welfare of the youth. The ‘Digital Pakistan’ campaign will illuminate the Youth’s powers and skills to do best for their homeland.
During his address, PM Imran Khan stated that “The world has been taking great strides in digitization. However, Pakistan has been lagging behind. Unfortunately, Pakistan has lagged behind due to corruption.”
He asserted that “E-governance is necessary to curb corruption, which is rampant across the country at all levels. This initiative will ease the lives of citizens. Our government will put all out efforts to promote Digital Pakistan. The future of Pakistan is very exciting.”
