Lahore: Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid has spread awareness regarding the SOPs of hepatitis.
On Monday, she has directed her team to take stern action against those who are not following the SOPs of hepatitis.
The decision came under a meeting after she reviewed the Punjab Aids Control Programme’s performance.

Dr. Yasmeen Rashid orders the Special Secretary to remove all those officers who do not work efficiently for the welfare of the society.
She stated, “We are providing the free facility of medicine and treatment to the hepatitis patients in Punjab from 121 centers. All officers have been directed to take stern action against barbers and beauty parlors for not following SOPs. All workers in hotels must be permitted to work after screening. All blood banks should be monitored to minimize the reasons for spreading hepatitis. Officers should make strategy after getting all history of hepatitis patients.”
She appointed the Special Secretary Ajmal Bhatti to monitor all activities of vertical programmes.
