Earth Quake in Pakistan


Lahore: According to the recent reports, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake has jolted major parts of Pakistan including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal capital here on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the media, tremors were felt in various cities of Pakistan that includes Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Jhelum, Charsadda, Swat, Khyber Agency, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Nowshera, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, and Kohistan.

People left their offices, house immediately after tremors were felt and went on to the streets.

The detailed report on earth quake revealed that the quake struck at the shallow depth of almost10 kilometers with its epicenter lying 5 km north of Jhelum.
