Islamabad: Former Senator Faisal Raza Abidi has been exonerated by the court in the ‘contempt of court’ case which was levelled against him.
The final verdict which was in favor of him was declared by the Anti-Electronic Crimes court Judge Tahir Khan here on Thursday.
It is pertinent to note that the accusations which were made against the former senator Faisal Raza in ‘contempt of court’ case could not be proven.
As soon as the news of his acquittal went viral, Faisal Raza mentioned during a media talk that,
“It’s now time to make some decisions regarding my future.”
He further asserted that “If I have to live in Pakistan, I will have to come back to politics.”
However, his final decision is pending unless he meets his family.
It must be noted that Faisal Raza was charged for using defamatory language against former chief justice Saqib Nisar during an interview to a news channel.
