Beautiful, Elegant and Spectacular
With the success of the first two days, Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer 2019 came to its end with seven designers exhibiting their classy ensembles on the Third day. These designers include Nomi Ansari, Huma Adnan, Amir Adnan, Saira Shakira, Zainab Chottani, The PinkTree Company, and Tena Durrani. Several elegant and spectacular dresses were taken to the limelight.
From a mix of the dynamic and vibrant bridal collection, the show exhibits the heavily-embellished formal dresses. The third day was quite big on showcasing grace and level.
Nomi Ansari’s collection contains a mix of bright colors including yellow, pink, blue and orange to enhance the grace of the ramp. These interesting color combinations were quite enticing and the audience was all cheerful at the sight. In my opinion, the dresses contain more of an ajrak style.
Then came Huma Adnan’s exclusive outfits on the floor. The bridal collection showcasing the brilliant art work was gathering audience applause on the ramp. She displayed some of the shimmery lehngas in different vibrant colors like red, purple, and pink.
Amir Adnan was no less than others in terms of colors or styles. His ensembles mostly reflect the grace and glory of a groom. His collection contains waist coats, sherwanis, and grooms wear titling ‘All Day I Dream’.
Saira Shakira’s display of the outfits having brilliant cutwork, speaks off the efforts that are being put on the fabric. The geometric and linear embroidery designs on the ensembles have given them a very unique touch.
Zainab Chottani is all lauded for her brilliant dresses collections every time. Her ensembles give an aesthetic touch that we all are aware of. On this FPW, displaying a palette of reds, powder pinks and silvers, La Fee was largely for those who like what the designer does.
The PinkTree Company
Shedding lights over our traditional concepts of Mayun and Mehndi, the PinkTree Company has displayed a variety of beautiful and traditional Mehndi wear dresses. A brilliant display of a splash of popping yellows, greens and pinks were exhibited as the models sashayed down the runway with dholki songs playing in the milieu.
Ending Day 3 with a grand finale, Tena Durrani has showcased her collection titled ‘Nur’, which mainly aimed at displaying a palette of silvers, golds, peaches and light blues that interpret the concept of eternal light.
