The Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has found himself in hot waters after saying that the government is not responsible for providing jobs.
However, later on, he clarifies his stamen saying that it was all taken out of the context.
While addressing at the 2nd PEC deans International Conference on Globalization of Engineering Education and Practice, he was caught by saying that “people should not expect the government to provide jobs”. His statement created a lot of buzz on social media.
Moreover, he said, “If you start looking up to the government to give jobs to everyone, then the entire framework of the economy would collapse.”
As soon as he mentioned these lines, the internet world has caught it with all the wrong means. As a result, he clarifies his stance. He took to his twitter handle and wrote,
“Wondering how every statement is made headline without context, I said it’s not the government who gives jobs it is the private sector.
“The government creates an environment where jobs can be created. It’s not like that everyone should search for govt. job,” he added.
