Islamabad: Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Sardar Ali Muhammad Khan Mahar passed away yesterday. He is reported to have a severe heart attack on Tuesday that he couldn’t survive.
He died at his residence in Gotki. He has also performed his serving as the Sindh chief minister from 2002-2004.
After independently wining 2018 elections from NA-205, he decided to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In September 2018, he became the part of the cabinet.
However, the notification issued by the cabinet division about his death has almost left everyone wonderstruck.
A rich tribute has been paid to the services of the deceased minister.
President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Special Assistant to PM on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan, Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi and other prominent leaders of different political parties have extended condolence and deep grief over the demise of Ali Muhammad Mahar.
They all prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
