Five days public holiday likely to be observed this Eid-ul-Fitr


Karachi: Several predictions have been made regarding the Shawwal moon. Among them is the Director professor Shahid Qureshi who has been performing his services at University of Karachi’s Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics.

He has predicted that the Shawwal moon is likely to be observed on June 4 which means the nation will be celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on June 5.

If the news regarding the Shawwal moon to be observed on June 4, is going to be true, then there are chances of having five public holidays.

The government, semi-government employees will be privileged to enjoy five-day Eid holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr 2019.

However, the employees relating to the private sector will likely return to their offices on Saturday, June 8 if Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on June 5.
