Rawalpindi: A check-post in North Waziristan was being attacked by a group of men on Sunday.
The reports revealed that the group was led by Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar. The attacked left some adverse effects.
ISPR reported on Sunday that five military personnel were injured during the attack.
According to the army, “Troops at the check-post exercised maximum restraint in the face of provocation and direct firing on the post.”
The ISPR further stated that “Due to the firing of the group 5 Army soldiers got injured. In exchange of fire 3 individuals who attacked the post lost their lives and 10 got injured.”
Ali Wazir has been taken into the custody while the search for Mohsin Dawar is under process.
