Five soldiers martyred in blast at Line of Control (LOC)

Rawalpindi: An Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release stated on Wednesday that an explosive blast occurred near Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Jhamp Sector. The Jhamp was a few meters from the Line of Control (LoC).

During the blast, five soldiers of the Pakistan Army have embraced martyrdom while one got severe injuries.

Inquiries have been made to ascertain the nature of the blast. The incident could be a proof of India’s state terrorism stated the ISPR Wing on Wednesday.

These martyrs included,

  1. Subedar Muhammad Sadiq (44). He has served the Pakistan Army for 23 years, has the family of three sons and two daughters.
  2. Sepoy Muhammad Tayyab (26) who has served the Pakistan Army for five years. He is married and had been a resident of village Surakhi, Tehsil and District Khushab.
  3. Sepoy Zohaib (20) who had served the Pakistan Army for seven months. He was married and was residing at village Nandi Nar Ghamir Manhdala, Tehil Hajira, District Poonch.
  4. Sepoy Ghulam Qasim (22). He has served the Pakistan Army for one year. He was a resident of village Sahiwal, District Sargodha.
