Forced Conversions should be stopped – Govt. Takes notice


The issue of two minor Hindu girls is rampant these days. Under the said issue, seven people have been arrested in Pakistan for allegedly assisting in arranging the wedding of two Hindu minor girls.
The girls were reportedly abducted from Sindh on the Holi eve and forcibly converted to Islam, as the teenagers approached a court in the country’s Punjab province seeking protection.
Imran Khan has ordered the rescue of two teenage Hindu girls who were forced to convert to Islam and married off as child brides in a case that has caused outrage in India.
According to Geo TV, the teenagers have approached a court in Bahawalpur seeking protection.
“Police have arrested a man from Khanpur who is suspected to have assisted in the Nikkah (marital contract) of the girls,” it said.
Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, a prominent Hindu lawmaker from the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf party, said that “He would present a resolution in the National Assembly in its next session demanding an end to forced conversions.”
