Google to Use Recycled Materials Only to Manufacture Products in the Future

Environmental issues these days are the most important matters which need serious attention. The environment is being affected continuously by carbon emission, pollution, and many other alarming ways. Our technology plays a big role in this act by usage and disposal of technology devices in our daily life. But it can be reduced by recycling which is being promoted day by day and many organizations are taking initiatives as part of their corporate social responsibility, ultimately benefiting the environment and increasing their credibility in the market.

Google has recently announced that they will use only recycled materials in their consumer products. According to them, this policy will be fully implemented by 2022. Google is looking forward to making all its devices carbon neutralized so that the environment could be saved. Google is already using recycled plastics for most of its devices but the issue is with metals which are not being recycled very often. Google is working aggressively on carbon offset projects to minimize carbon footprints.

Every year new models of smartphones are being launched by the tech giants and we immediately buy those models to fulfill our needs concerning emerging technologies but we don’t know what to do with the old phones which we simply dump. Tech giants like Apple and Google are taking initiatives to recycle these dumped phones to build new trendy devices. It simply minimizes the cost and benefits of the environment. We hope that other tech giants will also take similar initiatives to minimize pollution.
