‘Govt. not worried about Azadi March’ Ijaz Shah


Islamabad: Minister for Interior Brig (retd) Ijaz Shah has declared on Thursday that the government is not worried about Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi March.

He was accompanied by PM’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan. While addressing the media persons on Thursday, he asserted that the participants of the Azadi March will be provided proper security and protection.

He mentioned that “If they bring more people than expected, we will give them more space. We will make them feel comfortable, as comfortable as staying in a five-star hotel.”

Ijaz Shah conveyed

Ijaz Shah conveyed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s message that he does not prevent the JUI-F from marching because he himself was a politician. However, he has made it clear that the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan is out of the question.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan also addressed the media conference and stated that the PTI government is not afraid of any conspiracies made by the opposition parties. He mentioned that the opposition parties are pressuring PM Imran Khan to resign but this is not going to happen.

Targeting the corrupt leaders she declared that “Those who can’t speak the truth among themselves, how will they speak truth to the nation.”
