While talking to a delegation of the Cancer Foundation led by its chairman, Maqsood Ansari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has pointed out some important facts about the welfare of the Cancer hospitals.
The delegation was held on Monday in which Murad Ali Shah stated that cancer treatment is very costly in Pakistan and government is trying its best to make it available for the cancer patients.
People are facing a lot of problems in the cancer treatment especially those belonging to the private sectors. Therefore, the govt. is keen to make cancer health facilities better at these private sectors.
Some other prominent personalities were also present during the meeting. These include Engineer Haji Nazim, Surgeon Abid Jamal, Principal Secretary to CM Sajid Jamal Abro, Secretary Health Saeed Awan.
He was also informed about the need for some radiation machines in Karachi as they have only 40. It becomes very difficult to manage with only 40 radiation machines. Patients have to wait for one to two months in welfare hospitals in order to get treated.
