He declared that after discussing certain matters, he and his party have no ambiguity regarding these, and a lot of misunderstandings against the government have been cleared.
Local media reported that some of the government officials have met with the Chaudhry brothers in Lahore. There were discussions regarding certain matters.
Members of the government team include federal ministers Pervez Khattak, Shafqat Mehmood, Punjab Governor Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, and Asad Umar.
While talking to the media persons, Elahi stated that,
“We had open discussions with the government on outstanding issues. We do not have any doubts about the sincerity and leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.”
He further added that “We have resolved certain matters. In the future too, we hope to work together with the government. We can resolve issues amicably by discussing them between ourselves.”
He went on saying that “There was a perception about the parties not being on the same page. People turned small matters into big ones. We hope our alliance with the PTI can stay intact till elections.”
