According to the media, Turkey has experienced a powerful earthquake here on Saturday. The earthquake resulted in the death of almost 21 people while more than 1,000 are being severely injured in eastern Turkey.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan showed his concerns and grief at the loss of precious human lives. He is “deeply saddened” by the loss of lives in the Turkey earthquake.

Through a Tweet, the Pakistan Premier has regretted the loss of “so many precious lives and of hundreds injured in Turkey’s earthquake”.
He went on saying that “Our thoughts and prayers are with the brotherly people and government of Turkey. Pakistan stands by them and is ready to lend any assistance in this hour of need.”

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa
Moreover, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa had also expressed grief at the loss of lives along with PM Imran Khan.
In a press release issued by Inter-Service Public Relations, it stated that COAS has expressed his condolences over the loss of lives in the Turkey quake.
According to a press release, “A Pakistan Army contingent, including special rescue and relief team and field medical facilities, are ready as part of assistance offered by the government.”
