With the inauguration session of China’s second Belt and Road Forum on Friday in Beijing, Prime Minster Imran Khan has delivered some keynotes regarding the subject.
While addressing the opening session, Pakistan Premier Imran Khan has commended the significance of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). He said that along the path of globalization, China’s Belt and Road Initiative marks a new and distinct phase in the onward march of nations in the world.
PM Imran Khan also called for greater attention to cope with climate change and poverty, adding that Pakistan and China enter the next phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He further declared that Pakistan wants to promote cooperation with China in agriculture, health and education sectors.
According to him, the BRI offers a model of partnership, collaboration, connectivity, and shared prosperity.
He stated: “Pakistan is proud to have partnered with China in this transformative endeavor. We have been among BRI’s earliest and most enthusiastic proponents.”
