India releases water in River Sutlej

India has once again started playing hide and seek with Pakistan. Earlier, it comes up with hurting Kashmiris which is going to an extent this time. They are still making the lives of poor Kashmiris quite bitter with the aggressive behavior of the Indian Army. Making the poor innocent children blind was never the fate of the people living in Kashmir.

This time, India has gone too far in its aggression. The local news media informed that New Delhi has released on Sunday at least two lakh cusecs water into the River Sutlej. It is pertinent to note that they haven’t provided any reason or information regarding this.

As per the reports from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), about 150,000 to 200,000 cusecs water is being released from Indian Punjab that would enter into Ganda Singh Wala within next 12 to 24 hours.

As soon as the information was being passed on, Kasur administration has immediately visited the bank of River Sutlej in order to get themselves aware of the current situation. Necessary measures should be taken to avoid any disaster.

The National Disaster Management Authority has also reported that India has opened three spillways of Ladakh Dam as well.

The matter should be considered under serious notice as India has not informed Pakistan about the release of the water.
