No talks with India until IoK situation changes: PM Imran Khan

Islamabad: The two US Senators including Christopher Van Hollen and Ms. Maggie Hassan meet Prime Minister Imran Khan here on Monday. During the meeting, Kashmir issue was discussed at length.

PM Imran Khan informed them that there will be no talks with India until the situation in Indian Held Kashmir becomes stable.

The Indian government has scrapped Article 370 from its constitution. The lockdown in Indian Occupied Kashmir has reached its 62 days. And still there are no reforms to remove curfew from the region.

The US Senators also discussed their observations into the Azad Kashmir valley.

PM Imran Khan thanked the US government for understanding the grave matters like Kashmir. He appreciated the US’ involvement in solving the tensions between Pakistan and India.

Both US Senators have expressed deep and serious concern over human rights violations in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
