Sikh community awaits the opening of Kartarpur corridor in Pakistan


Kartarpur: Kartarpur Corridor is a historic gift of the Pakistan government to the Sikh pilgrims. The project has been completed in 11 months. Sources revealed that Gurdwara Darbar Sahib is going to be the biggest Sikh shrine in the world.

According to the recent reports, PM Imran Khan will inaugurate the Kartarpur Corridor on November 09. The inauguration ceremony will be held tomorrow by PM Imran Khan.

Moreover, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also invited at the inauguration ceremony of the Corridor.

The custodian of the Kartarpur shrine Ramash Singh Arora has stated here on Thursday that the Sikh pilgrims are awaiting for the shrine to open.

“They are very excited. If you look at history, the foundation of Sikhism is from Pakistan.”

A Sikh pilgrim, Karan Deep Singh has stated that “For over 70 years, pilgrims haven´t had the chance to cross over, to come over, and that is just… it´s just… it´s going to be a really emotional moment.”

He further stated that “It should improve and I´m hoping that it will improve. Definitely. Because the goodwill is oozing.”
