KP schools closure extended till May 31 as more cases surged in the country


On Friday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has extended the closure of the educational institutions till May 31.

The KP government has decide that all the educational institutes will remain close till May 31 as more cases are being reported in the country.

The government has also banned the inter-city transport till April 5.

According to the media sources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported 192 cases while three deaths have been occurred due to this virus.

Meanwhile, the novel coronavirus continues affecting the lives of the people across the country. The total number of confirmed cases has risen to 1600 in Pakistan.

COVID-19 is taking more lives than any other disease in the world. Even the strongest countries like the US and Italy are badly under its spell. In Pakistan, coronavirus has taken almost 15 lives.

Moreover, Dr. Zafar Mirza has briefed about how many patients have been suffering from this disease across the country. He declared that Punjab has reported 593 coronavirus cases, while Sindh remains on the second with total of 502 cases. 192 patients have emerged from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while 141 from Balochistan. Gilgit Baltistan has reported 123 cases, AJK has 6 while ICT has reported 43 new cases.
