After Ahmed Ali Akbar has won the best Actor Award a few days back, now is Laal Kabootar’s turn.

The 14th Tasveer South Asian Film Festival (TSAFF) was commenced on September 26, 2019. It finally came to an end last week.
Pakistani film Laal Kabootar has won the Best Feature Film Award as part of the TSAFF Archana Soy Audience Choice Awards.
The film was directed by Kamal Khan and produced by Kamil Chima.
It is pertinent to note that the protagonist of the film Ahmed Ali Akbar and the producer Kamil Chima were in attendance during the Q & A section.
The film’s official social media handle announced the news stating that,
“Excited to announce that we won the award for Best Feature Film at the Tasveer Film Festival.”
Moreover, it added “After an epic week of films, red carpet glitz, esteemed guests and visitors, and talented filmmakers, today marks the finale to TSAFF 2019. Congratulations to all the winners.”
On the other hand, Ahmed Ali Akbar also shared, “Kamal and I call getting into the character a process of discovery; there was a lot of inspection and thinking. It took a lot of time.”
He went on saying that “We have gotten very positive reviews; people from every strata, every walk of life have come out and said that had they not recognized us Pakistanis, they wouldn’t believe it is a Pakistani film. It is so good.”
