However, the Lahore High Court has dismissed her appeal regarding the sexual harassment by acclaimed singer cum actor Ali Zafar. The verdict was served on Friday, 02, 2019 by Justice Shahid Kareem.

Her lawyer, Nighat Dad announced here on Friday that the court dismisses her client’s appeal. She took to her twitter handle and wrote,

“LHC maintained ombudsperson’s decision in Meesha’s case and dismissed the petition appealing the decision of the ombudsperson in which she decided to dismiss the case because of jurisdiction. Neither ombudsperson nor the high court heard Meesha’s case of sexual harassment on merits.”

She went on saying that “Today’s decision doesn’t mean that Ali Zafar has been exonerated from charges leveled by Meesha as it was not heard on merits. In fact, neither the HC nor the office of Ombudsperson has given any decision on the merits. Get your facts straight and stop believing in fake PR machinery.”
