LUMS refutes coronavirus rumors, says students test ‘negative’

Earlier, some of the Pakistani students have returned from Turkey. Rumors frightened the Lahoris that these students from LUMS are infected by the virus. However, LUMS has refuted these kinds of rumors saying that students have tested negative for coronavirus.

The LUMS management has cleared that it has tested its students for coronavirus “as a precaution”.
It further said, “All results received so far are negative. LUMS is putting all measures in place to ensure a safe and healthy campus.”

For now, Pakistan has experienced 21 cases of positive coronavirus in the country. The highest number of patients are from Karachi, Sindh. Sindh has been the hard-hit target of the virus with 15 cases emerged within a few days.

Moreover, two patients who were initially tested positive have been recovered.
