Karachi: It seemed that the ratio of crime scenes in Karachi is going to decrease. Day after day criminal cases have been brought under the spotlight. The recent incident of killing of a man in broad day light has been added into the list of crime scenes.
Local news officials in Karachi revealed that a man was gunned down by two unidentified men riding on the bike on Monday in District East.
The man was on his way to drop his daughter at Dar-ul-Sehat Hospital as usually when two strangers just shot him down. He was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The incident took place near Rabia City apartments in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
He is being identified as 40-year-old Javed Iqbal, the son of Qari Abdul Bari. He was residing at Malir and worked at a private company.
Investigations have been made to get into the roots of the matter. Although there were no clues and CCTV footage to examine the nature or cause of the murder. Police are doing its best to record statements and find clues.
According to Sharea Faisal SHO Safdar Mashwani,
“He was shot once in his neck and died shortly,” the officer said. “We don’t have any idea about the motive behind the incident as the family said that they did not have any personal enmity with anyone, while the daughter of the victim also denied any robbery bid.”
An FIR (No. 485/19) is being registered against unidentified persons on behalf of the son of the victim, Shahzaib.
