PM Imran hits back at critics, says state of Medina was not built in a day


Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday responded to critics asking him when Naya Pakistan will be turned into the state of Madinah, saying that the state of Medina was not built within a day.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has addressed the International Rehmatul-Lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference in Islamabad here on Saturday.

He responded strongly to all those critics who have been criticizing the PTI government for turning the country into the state of Madinah. He addressed those impatient critics that the state of Madinah wasn’t built in a single day. It took years.

He further mentioned that the state of Medina was a “source of inspiration for a progressive society”.

“People keep asking me when Naya Pakistan, modeled after the state of Medina, will be made and I tell them the state of Medina was not made in one day,” he added.

He went on saying that “This is a continuing struggle, but at least we have started on the path. I will keep working to make this country on the principles of the state of Medina.”

He further targeted the corrupt leaders who have looted the country for many years. He refused to give NRO to these leaders.

“People have said that I should forgive those who have looted the country, but it is not my money that they have looted.”

Eid Milad-un-Nabi

On the sacred occasion of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi, here on Sunday, PM Imran Khan paid tribute to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his simplicity. He asked his nation to follow the steps of our beloved Prophet (PBUH).

He has called out Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWW the greatest human being who has served His life for the welfare of his people and state.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote,

“Our Prophet (PBUH) was the greatest human being of all time & hence the ideal role model for all of us. Anyone who follows his path will be liberated from the chains that keep us grounded & prevent us from fulfilling our potential.”

“I used to have some other role models, but now my role model is the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).”

He further showed his optimism saying that Pakistan will be able to gain international recognition soon.
