The producers of the film ‘Welcome’ are now planning to make the 3rd sequel of the film in 2020 while the 4th one would be destined for 2021.
The welcome film which is best known for hilarious scenes is now all set for further adventures and has made its way to the big screen. The producers and directors have already set their way to make the film while casting the legendary Anil Kapoor, versatile John Abraham, and the famous comedian Nana Patekar for the upcoming sequel of ‘Welcome’. The rumors also stated that the stars will also be seen in the 4th sequel of the film.
The film in 2007 casting Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was such a blockbuster.
While ‘Welcome Back’ in 2015, has also given a super hit shot. In the film, Anil and Patekar were portrayed as the underworld dons.
The maker of the film stated, “We are planning to do ‘Welcome 3’ and ‘Welcome 4’ back-to-back. We will start shooting soon. The actors will remain the same—John, Anil, Nana, Paresh Bhai. The third one will be directed by Ahmed Khan (the first two were helmed by Bazmee)”
Furthermore, he added, “this time we will have a lot of action. We will have fun and stylized action, like how it was in ‘Mission Impossible’ series. So, there will be laughter and action both. The first time we will incorporate the action thing in ‘Welcome’ series.”
He goes on stating that they are planning to shot the film abroad, “The moment ‘Welcome 3’ will get over in two months’ time, we will start ‘Welcome 4. It will be the first Indian franchise to have movies back-to-back sequel. We had planned this four-five months ago.”
Owing to the certain allegations levelled against Nana Patekar by Tanushri Dutta in #MeToo, the actor was dropped from the ‘Houseful 4’. Dutta exclaimed that Nana has harassed her on the set of a film back in 2008.
