On Tuesday, New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern has paid tribute to Pak hero Naeem Rashid stating that he has risked his life in pursuit of saving the lives of his fellow Muslim worshipers. He has tried his best to prevent Australian terrorist from shooting down the innocent people in Al Noor mosque at Christchurch.
She expressed condolence to the Muslims. She has promised the grieving and suffering families of the victims that the Australian terrorist will face “full force of law.”
She started her address with Muslim greeting, ‘Assalam-o-Alaikum’ in the parliament saying that “Naeem Rashid has laid down his life to save the lives of worshippers gathered inside the mosque.”
Condemning such a heinous act of terrorism, she stated: “He sought many things from his act of terror, but one was notoriety — that is why you will never hear me mention his name. He is a terrorist. He is a criminal. He is an extremist. But he will, when I speak, be nameless.”
Celebrities and leaders from around the world have condemned the massacre at two New Zealand mosques, calling to halt the spread of Islamophobia.
