“Pakistan Air Force reports with regret that a PAF F-16 aircraft crashed near Shakarparian, Islamabad during the rehearsals of 23rd March parade.”
Sources revealed that PAF F-16 aircraft was crashed during the rehearsals of the 23rd March parade on Wednesday.
The PAF spokesman further announced that Wing Commander Noman Akram has embraced martyrdom during the crash.
The cause of the incident in still ascertain. The inquiry board will be set up soon to determine the cause of the accident.
As soon as the aircraft crashed, rescue teams rushed the scene, the spokesperson further told.
It is worth noticing that a trainer aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has crashed near Mardan last month.
