According to the recent sources, Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa has met the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani here on Tuesday.
A statement was issued by the director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor on his official Twitter handle. It stated that COAS General Qamar Bajwa has conducted an official visit to Tehran where he met President Hassan Rouhani.
During the meeting, several matters regarding regional security were discussed.
Moreover, DG ISPR further stated in his tweet that the Army chief discussed “regional security environment and matters of mutual interest with the Iranian president.”

His tweets further reads, “The Iranian president appreciated role of Pakistan towards regional peace and successes of Pakistan Army against terrorism.”
He also met his Iranian counterpart upon arrival here on Monday.
