The DG ISPR was quoted saying that,

“The country’s defence doesn’t allow us to answer such allegations,” he said. “We are busy defending the country.”

He went on saying that JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a senior and respectable politician. All the security arrangements have been ensured to avoid any inconvenience.

“The army chief wishes that an election process should be in the place where the role of the army is minimum,” he added.

While talking about the Kashmir issue, The DG ISPR stated that it’s going on between Pakistan and Indian for the past 70 years.

He added that “Every day there is firing between the two sides across the Line of Control (LoC). Our soldiers have been sacrificing their lives on the LoC hence this issue will not cool down anytime soon. Pakistan or any other institution cannot compromise on the issue of occupied Kashmir.”
