Pakistan Railways to remained suspended till April 25 amid Coronavirus outbreak

The Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has announced yesterday that the Pakistan Railways will remained closed till April 25.

It is worth noticing that the federal government has extended lockdown in manjor parts for two more weeks amid coronavirus fears.

Amid this lockdown, the train services in Pakistan will also be suspended till April 25 as more and more cases are surfacing in the country.

Sheikh Rasheed said,

“Train services that we wanted to resume from April 15 have been pushed back to April 25.”

He further said that, “before operating trins from the first of Ramzan, we will review the decision once again.”

He went on saying, “Train services will remain suspemded untill the night of April 24. Cargo trins will continue to remain functional.”

It is pertinent to note that the confirmed coronavirus cases in pakistan have reached 6,000 after mor and more cases are being reported from different parts of the country.

Coronavirus has almost taken 104 lives in Pakistan. We all must need to stand together in this difficult hour.
